Congratulations on your engagement! I’m Brooke, an independent marriage and civil union celebrant based in New Zealand, with a background spanning luxury events, weddings and television. After more than a decade working in New York’s vibrant hospitality scene, I’ve learned that the most memorable experiences are the genuine ones. Alongside my events career, I’ve worked as a broadcast journalist and television news anchor - a background that taught me how to tell a story, connect with an audience and feel completely at home in front of a crowd.
As your celebrant, I bring that same attention to detail, warmth and sense of occasion to your wedding day. From our first conversation to the moment you say “I do”, I’ll take the time to get to know you, what makes you laugh and the story of your relationship that’s uniquely yours.
Whether your vision is wildly romantic and intimate, beautifully traditional or a little unconventional, I’ll create a ceremony that feels true to you. I’ll handle the details and guide you through the preparations so you can concentrate on the most important thing, each other.
Based in Auckland, often in Mount Maunganui, happy to travel nationwide and abroad.

LOVELY TO MEET YOU…
Hello, I’m Brooke, a born-and-raised Kiwi who has recently moved back to New Zealand after more than a decade living and working in New York City. I am a luxury events and hospitality professional with 11 years of experience across New York's private members' clubs, hotels, restaurants and large-scale events, supported by an earlier career in broadcast journalism with Television New Zealand.
My time at Soho House, Zero Bond and The Standard Hotel gave me a front-row seat to some of New York’s most exclusive events, from weddings and private-member celebrations to entertainment, music and luxury brand activations. It taught me that the finer details matter, but so does how a moment feels.
Before moving into luxury hospitality, I worked as a television reporter and news anchor for TVNZ, reporting live on breaking news and current affairs for the Breakfast show. I love a story and connecting with people and happily feel at ease talking in front of a crowd.
Now based in New Zealand, I’m excited to bring together a career built around people, storytelling and creating memorable moments.
